BRIDGEPORT — Betty Jo Nulter, 87, formerly of North View, Clarksburg, passed away Monday morning, May 5, 2014, in the Rosewood Center after an extended illness.

She was born in North View on September 4, 1926, a daughter of the late Roy E. and Grace Garber Nulter.

She is survived by several cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, June Rittenhouse, and a nephew, Bud Watson.

Playing the piano and music were Betty Jo’s life, and the staff and residents of Rosewood enjoyed hearing her play. She also enjoyed composing rhymes. She had attended Barnes Memorial Methodist Church.

Memorial contributions in Betty Jo’s memory may be made to the Barnes Memorial Methodist Church.

There will be no public visitation or services, and interment will be in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Clarksburg.
