Grave Marker for Carrie Shuttleworth Smith

Mrs. Carrie Shuttleworth Smith, a former resident of Clarksburg, died at her home, North Charles Street, Baltimore, Sunday afternoon, after a lingering illness of a complication of diseases.

Mrs. Smith was a daughter of the late Captain John H. Shuttleworth of this city. She resided at Clarksburg throughout her life until about twelve years ago, during which latter period she made her home in Baltimore. She is survived by her husband, Edward S. Smith, and her sisters, Miss Ella Shuttleworth, of this city, and Misses May and Nina Shuttleworth, of Baltimore.

Christ Episcopal Church

Funeral services will be held at the Episcopal church in this city at 2:30 o’clock Tuesday afternoon.

Interment will be in the Odd Fellows’ cemetery.

The casket will be open at the Warne mortuary from 10 to 2 o’clock tomorrow, when friends who desire may view the corpse.
