Hon. Charles Matthew Hart Dies in Clarksburg

CLARKSBURG, W. Va., Dec. 3—
Charles M. Hart, aged 67, prominent citizen and manufacturer, died this morning at his home of dropsy. He was head of the Hart Brothers Machine company and served as a city councilman and as a member of the West Virginia House of Delegates.

CLARKSBURG, W. Va., Dec. 3.— Charles Matthew Hart, 67, prominent manufacturer, business man and bank director, died suddenly today at his home here after a brief illness of heart and kidney disease.
He was head of the Hart Brothers’ Machine Company, one of the oldest industries in the city. He served two terms in the state house of delegates, three terms in the city council and was twice chairman of the county Republican committee.
His widow, four children and a brother John B. Hart, Charleston business man, survive.
