*Mrs. (Hattie) Maggie Crites, aged about * (55) 45 years, died on Locust street at 3 o’clock Wednesday afternoon, March 21, 1900, of asthma and la grippe.

The funeral was conducted Thursday afternoon at 3 o’clock by Rev. Mr. Tyree and interment was made in the I. O. O. F. cemetery.

Mrs. Crites was in very destitute circumstances and the funeral expenses were defrayed by the members of the M. E. Church, South, of which she was a member.
