Grave marker inscription of Lenora Sullivan Cunningham

On the 30th day of September last Mrs. Lenora Cunningham, wife of J. L. Cunningham, of this city.

Mrs. Cunningham was born January 15, 1872, in Harrison County, her maiden name being Sullivan.

Lenora had been married about five years, but leaves no children behind to mourn the loss of mother. The disease that took her away was typhoid fever.

The disease baffled the skill of physicians and the loving care of her husband. She was a member of the U. B. Church at Wilsonburg and was a gentle, amiable wife.

She has gone “From earth’s sorrows and cares To join the great white throng.”
