The death of Ralph E. Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel E, Brown, occurred at the home of his parents on East Pike Street Sunday evening after a lingering illness with tuberculosis.
The deceased was thirty-two years of age and single. He served as a private in Company I, Second West Virginia Infantry during the Spanish-American war.Â
The funeral will take place from the late home Tuesday afternoon at three o’clock. Burial will be in the I. O. O. F. cemetery.

The funeral of Ralph E. Brown, who died Sunday evening after a lingering illness with tuberculosis, took place Tuesday afternoon at three o’clock from the late home on West Pike street. Burial occurred in the I. O. O. F. cemetery.
