Dies at Her Home at Old Fair Grounds–Funeral Will Be Sunday Afternoon

Mrs. Ruth Jones Peck, widow of Charles Peck, died at her home at the old fair grounds at 10:50 o’clock Friday morning from uremic poison. She was 68 years of age.

Mrs. Peck was born in Marion county, but came here at an early age. Surviving her is a brother, Robert Jones, of Monongah, and one son, Frank Peck, of the Telegram office.

Her husband died six years ago. Mrs. Peck was a member of the Methodist church and a very exemplary woman. Many friends are pained to hear of her death. The funeral will be held at the late residence at 2:30 o’clock Sunday afternoon and interment will be in the Odd Fellows’ Cemetery.

The funeral of Mrs. Ruth Jones Peck, widow of Charles Peck, who died at her home at the old fair grounds Friday morning, will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock.

Services will be held at the late home, led by the Rev. S. K. Arbuthnot, pastor of Goff Methodist Episcopal Church and interment will be in the I. O. O. F. Cemetery.
